Marathon runners are two-a-penny these days. Anyone wanting to push themselves to the limit of extreme sport is doing the triathlon....

My view is anyone can run a marathon, but it takes some quite a bit of physical and mental strength to run a marathon 'fast'. That is to the limit of that person's endurance, speed and fitness.

Personally, I just can't get worked up about tri's. To me it's just a swim, then a bike ride and then a run. I don't see it as a whole. There again, I'm a bit pants at them as my swim isn't that good. Good for cross training and recovery from injury though.

Extreme??? Pah!! Try this...

You wanna try skateboarding then!
I've broken two bones so far since I started doing that back in my teens!
Elbow and wrist.

Any of them raced downhill or bsx on a mountainbike at Fort William?
Thought not!
Extreme my foot!!!!!!!!!
