Yup, was good to run with you Mike, good session that and I really want to work hard on speed for the next couple of months....however i do generally drive home at 30mph, acknowledge the wife, and have a leisurely bath before catching a bit of tv and/or going online _________________ Beware of the Albatross |

Who collected mine then ???
Well, never mind, there is an 'on the day' option I think.....might test the motivation a bit, plus got 6 sets of tennis in the afternoon....might be testing goodwill of wife and little lad too....
I don't know....it's like a major feat of logistics to turn up at a start line for me.....grumble moan any excuse etc.... _________________ Beware of the Albatross |

Ah, well then, you see I thought that putting your name on the list was part of a bulk entry thing that the club did....the Essex PB5 list has got at least 10 names on it so there are a few of us who never got round to doing the form.....
Ok, I know for the future, cheers. _________________ Beware of the Albatross |

Hi JBD
The lists on the wall give the race details, and give members a chance to register their intention to race
By collection an entry form from Lee ... Filling it in
and most importantly ...
PAYING Vic
Your entry will be passed back to Lee for a bulk entry
( Which Lee pays for - Claiming the money back from the club )
This way we only enter members for races who have already paid in advance.
Otherwise it gets incredibly messy !!! |

That's fine, makes perfect sense, sure if I'd been down there in the last 3 weeks I would have seen Lee and sorted it...
You missed a corker last night Mikey.....jumping over puddles (until there was no grass to land on, at which point I was knee deep in one), slip sliding up an impossible path, falling into the crops, thank goodness for the semi-reasonable creek route back....on the plus side I couldn't hear my wheezing above the squelching of my shoes....wot a laugh, cheers for the encouragement Ernie _________________ Beware of the Albatross |

Pete had a great run by smashing his PB - well done mate.
I've e-mailed Karl with the pics that my dad took so hopefully they will be up on the site soon, he tried to get everybody that was in club gear.

Useless Mr No Show here....always envious when I see the post race reports...ah well...always the next one.
Good work Benfleet, absolutely excellent time Gmike to be taking over a minute off your PB on such a short race is impressive.
And you Pammie....sorry we didn't get to meet. _________________ Beware of the Albatross |

There are a few Benfleet runners in the picture on the back page of todays echo.
Well done all that ran, it's not the best off courses for scenery. But it is certainly a fast course.
My first P.B of the year, so im happy with that.
