I heard the ladies did well today, thanks for the support, it was hot outside the woods.
Anybody know if the result are available online anywhere? _________________ I didn't go out too fast, I just died too soon |

I was a long distance supporter Ian - I was in Halstead but Coach texted some of the results (well done Steve Dear I hear you had a good run).
The results are sent by email in a Word doc I believe, I know Karl got them last year and the fun starts then as they do not identitfy runners by their club so it's the game of hunt the Benfleet Runner! However I'm sure Karl will post them on our website if/when he gets them. |

Cheers Debs, Yeah I had a good run considering I hate the heat, but luckily it was only 5 miles, nothing compared to the guys doing Halstead.
I know if its this hot next weekend I might chicken out of doing the Baddow 10 - lol, I think i'd rather just spectate. |

Good news Steve is that the forecast for next Sunday is 10 degrees rising to max 15 sunny with some cloud. However given that the forecast sometimes changes up to 3 times in one day I wouldn't hold your breath....
As Phil said yesterday he heard snow was forecast for Halstead....
In the meantime I practising my warm weather training just in case....
And anyway that spectating lark isn't all it's cracked up to be I've got terrible sunburn after yesterday!! |

Please Mr Weatherman ... just a little bit of cloud for next week!
Even with a liberal application of factor 30 the old spamhead took a battering yesterday.
Anyone got a fringe I can borrow? |
