Blimey, even Nigel Kimpton gets a mention..... _________________ 'sometimes I am running so fast it appears that rocks and trees are standing still......' It was my best glum look.
Pool was shut for 6 weeks reopned on 1st March and then by 3rd March was a stonking 32 degrees. I got fed up of telling the supervisors and them doing nothing about it after a week and a half so complained big time. When the council said it wasnt recorded as 32 degrees merely 31.5 and this was within acceptable levels i complained to the Echo.
It is now cooler at an appropriate 29 degrees.
Worst run pool in the world. Its big though, opens at 5.30am and the club is really good(I struggle to keep up with the kids) which is why I go.
32 degrees is great for chatting and taking your yellow ducks in but impossible to train in. Lazy stubborn ****s didnt want to do anything. _________________

Seen Friday's Echo, Good piece on the Benfleet Ladies at the Cross Country.
Also at the bottom of the page, Karl and the Juniors, with the Sport Relief Run.
