This fine event coincides with my Wedding Anniversary this year, which is a bit of a result as my dancing is worse than my running !
Next year.... |

Well done all. I note that I missed out on 'best looking and most modest runner' award this year. It was good to see that the prize was carried over until 2009....I will start working on my acceptance speech now.... _________________ 'sometimes I am running so fast it appears that rocks and trees are standing still......' 'I may be slow, but you are ugly and I can train harder.' '90% is mental, the other half is physical'it's going to get a lot worse, before it gets worse'. |

Well done the winners....I knew Pete the Old One was in with a shout of the Merit Table - good work sir !
Like Mike I have to say that there are a few awards that seem to have been overlooked - I was hoping to secure the "Best Tights" category, mainly on a sympathy vote, but no mention.
Likewise my matching beanie hat and gloves from Great Bentley should have got some recognition - most clubs would have a "Where's Wally ?" award but not this one.
And I would have been reasonably confident of success in the "Incomprehensible Loss of Jacket" section if I'm honest.
Food for thought I'm sure you'll agree.... |
