Nice one!
This will be full in no time, get your entry in a.s.a.p!
Yep, back running this week but behind on training, got to 10 miles today, wanted to go longer but got worried I'll do damage again. This is me being patient for once in my life!!! Roll on London and Halstead! I'm coming to Tuesdays sesh straight from work, need to get some speed back into the legs!
See you then. |

Well and truly bitten by the Marathon bug despite my less than competent first one, looked for a simple road one in reasonable travel distance and nothing until this one in October.....unless someone knows any different ?
Anyway, I have entered online......accepted so just 6 months to wait !
I'm doing the Bristol Half in September with my brother in law which should help preparation. _________________ Beware of the Albatross |

Good lord, this had fallen into page 2 of 'races'.
Anyway, pretty certain I'm going to attempt this as I've done some longer runs - Bristol Half, followed by a 14.3, followed by a 17.5 saturday just gone (thanks Susanne) with no major problem so looks like I should be ok.
Anyone else ? _________________ Beware of the Albatross |

| Good luck, theres no way I'm even close to being fit enough to run 26.2 at the moment, injuries, manflu and broken limbs have taken their toll on 2008's racing for me! Two marathons and the Essex way relay and that's all I've done this year! Gutted but looking forward to 2009!!! |

Ok Steffan, shame, but best be fit for 2009. Anyone taking your number or did you not get round to entering ?
I know Nick isn't doing it either after entering.
Now, what I could do with is someone taking their number who is about my standard so we can keep each other going when it gets tough....
Tempted anyone ? _________________ Beware of the Albatross |
