As we are now into the racing year and some of us may have made a resolution to increase our flexibility, just thought i would let you know about this place in Leigh. www.shambhalastudios.com . Its a purpose built yoga studio, Lucy has been going for a good couple of months to the saturday morning Ashtanga class and I have managed the last 6 weeks.When else would you spend an 1 1/2 stretching and working on core strength.There is none of that chanting that you get at some yoga classes and a good mix of very bendy people and some not so bendy but working on it runners/triathlete types. If you want to improve your core strength, balance. flexibility and running give it a try.They provide all the gear and it will help you if you are wanting to race well.

Also if enough people were interested they said they could put on a class specifically for Benfleet.

So come down and learn your downward dogs from your fish pose! cheers

I started yoga last Tuesday at Fitness first. Loved it, especialy being the only male in the class! Thankfuly all those years of skateboarding have given me a bit of balance but I am soooooooo unflexable, hence my reason for going!
Like Jez said, give it a go!
