For those wishing to catch a lift to the race on Sunday, or if you just want to follow a convoy to ensure you get to the race, then I'm meeting at Tarpots at 9 am. There's a £2 charge to park there so car sharing is the way to go !

Alas no! Hangover wouldnt have stopped me. Even gentle movement really hurts. Another muddy race and more training missed. Gutted.

Well done all who took part. Spoke to Cap, he told me about the girls finishing postions, awesome stuff.

Dear all,

There was a photographer at Weald Park on Sunday. If you would like to see the pictures she took please look at her website:

Used to think I was just unlucky with photo's

Beginning to think I actually look like that !

Life can be so cruel

Not sure how impressed the chap in the first photo will have been - flem hanging off his chin, we've all been there.....?

There's a brilliant photo of me as I come up to the finish of the Chelmsford Woollastons Race for Business (5k or thereabouts) 2007 where I'm clearly in a lot of pain, sweating, soaked, quadruple chinned, about 2 stone bigger than now.

It went a fair way towards me deciding to join the running club....I'll try and add it later, you'll not be disappointed....most people assume I'm just finishing a marathon.  cyclops_ani

Link below seems to work - you have to go down about 60 photos, once you get to a set that appear to be in order 30s thru to 70s, just after 79 is me number WOL8. It is scary.....

Great photo - needs to be in caption competition:

'Oh My God I wish I hadn't had that curry....'
