http://www.runnersrescue.com/
which looks a good starting point if you have problems.
(Is it fact that now I am a Vet my hips fall apart and are in agony on every run...or am I getting paranoid in my old age..?)

Cheers Karl.....and I thought it was my dog's paws.....
If you think you have problems now wait until you are a Super Super Super Vet like Ernie.

Karl,
Ernie emailed me asking if I car to join him on a run, one evening next week. It was 6am when i replied to him accepting it. It was about 6.30am when i realised this guy does 100 mile plus runs......for one moment I didnt know what I had let myself in for.
Reality is: Meet at Hockley Woods at 7pm on Wednesday evening for a 5 mile run (well you may say jog) at my pace (10 - 11 minute miling). However, I dont seem to be constant as such, so it could be 9 1/2 minute for a few yards, then 11 minutes etc.
Anyhow, he said that he would go at my pace so as not to intimidate me. So nice eh? Caring Club springs to mind.
So, there you have it. Will you and the infamous MM1 be coming? |
