Apologies for the lateness of this mail but unfortunately I've had to

Thank you all for volunteering to run it's really appreciated by myself
and by your other team members. Please ensure you get to the start of
your leg at least 30 minutes before your start time and preferably 45
minutes to allow for any traffic problems that may occur especially if
you are using the A12. Please wear club colours and bring some pins with
you as you will be required to wear a letter to define which Benfleet
team you are in, I will give you your letter before the start of your
leg. Once you have arrived at the start you will need to sign in for
your relevant team so try to do this as soon as possible so the
organisers know how many runners are on each leg. If you are able to
please print off the copy of the teams as this will help anyone who is
there but not sure which team they are representing.
We are currently 1 runner short on the 7th leg for the Men but I will
endeavour to try and get a runner by Sunday, however if you know of
anyone who would be available to run then please let me know.

to leave the office pretty soon !! However you can contact me on my
mobile 07790 796574 or at home on 01702 555724. On the day of the race I
will be following each leg from the start to the finish so if you need
to get to the end of any leg and are not sure of how to get there then
you can follow me and hopefully you wont get lost.
Finally, for those following the race to the end don't forget some money
for your fish and chips !!
