Which team event was you interested in ?
The Sprint - 750m Swim - 20k Bike - 5k Run
or
The Olympic - 1500m Swim - 40k Bike - 10k Run
They both cost the same to enter ........ £199 / team !!!!!!
So would recommend the Olympic to get some value for money

I would say its an outrageous amount of money !!!
That's why it's always better to enter the whole event.
Much better value at only £76 for the lot |

Great news Andy F - I won't be alone - mind you, if all you fellas are going to use my name to get into the mixed wave, the organisers will wonder whats so special about me!
I hear you have a fancy new bike too - does it have go faster stripes? |

Hi Toni
I dunno about go faster stripes, but its got a lousy engine. Just took it out for a spin, I FEEL SICK NOW!
I am going to have to put some serious miles in, if I am going to finish this thing in a reasonble time.
Suppose I had better get a few swims in as well, done about 50 lengths a day when I was on holiday. Trouble is the pool is only about 8 meters long, so a bit of work to do there as well.
Have you got your bike yet?
Cheers

I was impressed at the 50 lengths bit - should've left out the size of the pool!
No new bike yet - budget restrictions (house decoration is taking priority at the mo)! so will use my very old one for now and then get one in the sales - hopefully I will be going soooooooo fast, no-one will notice my crap bike! Either that or just go out at night! |
