Mike, or anybody that knows
What map should we get for the Saunders I know you dont need to buy one but Pete and I would prefer to get one anyway.
I had a look on Sat but the edge of the map ended exactly where we would be going ?
Cheers

The best 1:25000 map you could use is the Harvey's Lakeland Central map. This could be difficult to obtain around here quickly. I have my dad's OS maps of the area if you want them, but I do think you will be switching between maps as you go. Maybe you could order a Harvey map direct from them today and get it sent to the hotel. They are usually pretty prompt when I've ordered mine before.
The map you will be given for the Saunders is based on the Harvey's map.

Stevie, I'm sick for you. That's a bummer not being able to go to the Sanders so close to the event. Hope Pete gets well soon. Now you don't have to buy a map perhaps you could use the money to buy that shin splints book you so badly need. Just thinking of you, mate.
P.S. Just remember, Steve, if I have to buy that book myself and it works, when i start lapping you and you say. 'Pat, that book must have cured your splints, could I possibly b..........' NO!!! Don't even finish that sentence..................Skinflint.' |

Yeah gutted about not doing it, but it cant be helped, Pete should have said he didnt want to do it, he didnt need to get himself into hospital to convince me
Too late Pat I already bought the map, and with interest rates going up I've cant afford luxuries such as a shin splint book.
You will never be able to lap me Pat - lol, still nice to know you have a dream
