Why is it called an ultra. Shouldn't it be renamed the ' 3 and a bit miles less than a marathon' run?

Massive thankyou to all involved with today, you are all fantastic, waterstations, drinks/gels waiting for me, encouragement, everything. Just brilliant!
Big thanks to Clive and Lynne (for driving and scaring the life out of me with just how far it was, and for the bucket of cold water to cool off my swelling feet at the end!) Lynne makes a great cup of tea too!
Enjoyed today, even the route was nice. Glad the wind was behind us most of the way around though!
Hope everyone else had a positive run today, roll on London/Paris/Halstead etc!

I'll second that steff, a big thankyou to everyone who took time out to help with the water stations/driving/support etc today. Especially to Clive and Lynne for everything they do, not just today but all year. Also a special thanks to Keith Burrett who drove and gave excellent support today, cheers mate.
Hope everyone had a good run.
All the best

and of course well done to clive and lyn. from a marshalls point of view a very well organised run, i had no problems with instructions or directions. excellent. |

Yeah, echo the lads comments. Excellent run that wouldn't have happened without great organisation and the drivers giving up their Sundays.
Special thanks to the Peters who ran Saturday and this afternoon so that they were available to drive.
What a great team of people!!!!

| Aye, it almost gets boring saying it every year doesn't it...almost. Superb organisation from Clive & Lyn, ably supported by a generous and very much appreciated fleet of drivers. BRC - what a great club! |
