had other plans for today but did run through the downs yesterday , joining just after the station and then running the 2nd part of the xc course. was pretty muddy in 1 or 2 places and my road shoes (suacony jazz , supposed to be grippy)didnt grip at all.
but on the whole quite runnable |

Ran the course this morning, most of the course was ok. The worst part was the section of the downs just before Leigh Station , absolutely no grip at all ( nearly went A#!+ over T#T a couple of times). Sea wall out and back was ok, can make good time up on these sections .
All the best to all running tomorrow and thanks to all the guys that manned the water stations etc this morning. |

Big well done to everyone who ran & marshalled today - the weather wasn't as kind as yesterday - even if the mud had dried out a bit!!
Thanks to the back-up crew yesterday, Graham, I've never been so happy to see a man carrying a tin of chocolates!! |
