Pammie, hi. Join my left knee. Developed ITB and knee bursitis. Much physio, foam rollering and stretching ,,,,,,,,,and it still twinges but infinitely better. Be careful if RICE doesn't help see a physio (Gemma I can recommend)..

Mike thanks

I'm seeing Gemma tomorrow as it goes saw her last week, it has improved slightly, ie. i can handle stairs, can't run well i can but it hurts well up to Monday anyway.

My job doesn't help involves heavy lifting work in retail and i'm involved in bringing the delivery in. Last night tonight for 11 days so hoping this will give me ample time to recover following my appointment with Gemma.

Cross training with the rower at present to keep some fitness

Pammie, give her my best and tell her I will be back soon. As for trigger point release and as many cross frictions as you can stand. Have tears in your eyes...grab the nearest joint of the skeleton in the corner of room...swear under breath....grit teeth. It will pay dividends. Look at it as if you were running with Godfrey and Karl.... compress

Hi Mike

Got on ok, though very painful. appears my quads are very tight and they were pulling on my knee, so massage leg got pulled in many different directions. Have some exercises to do.
Thighs sore this morning. Managed a little very slow run and knee felt better though did ache a bit mid run but not as bad as it has been

I told her what you said, so you better pay her a visit soon as you said cheese

I was very shattered last night and ddn't do much at all.

But guess i'll go back every so often, make it a regular thing

it's my quads and calves...............Gemma hammered 9 bells out of them last night. Most squealing she, and most of the clinic had heard for ages. I never have had such pain in quads before.................calves yes.

So it's resting and stretching.........good luck

Hi Mike, how do you feel today?

Hopefully things will get better. I can run for 40 minutes now, probably further but that as far as i've gone so far. Been back running a week and rowing. Its definitely better but still must stretch stretch stretch.

Hi David

Its Gemma at Benfleet

As it goes i booked an appointment today (am back running jogged round southend 10km on sunday) but decided to book a regular session feel it in my legs tonight (well upper legs) but it'll be worth it.

Whoever said no pain no gain must have had massages in mind
