Chippy time !!
(in the style of Harry Hill)
That has to be the fairest. Most do chip-to-chip times, but some (like Southend Half) did gun-to-chip time.
Still fairer than gun-to-finish but can be a little out if you take a while to get across the start.
I will stop now as I am boring myself !

What do you mean....boring yourself.....? _________________ 'sometimes I am running so fast it appears that rocks and trees are standing still......' Nope, you have in fact gone to THE BENFLEET LEAGUE page which is an entirely different club competition altogether...I knew all that running with Ernie would soon send you over the edge.

Just to confirm the rules for this competition:
There are 5 merit table distances that you can gain points, these are 5k, 10k, 5 miles, 10 miles, half-marathon, and can be any AAA's certified race over any combination of these distances to gain points.
If it's not a local race just provide a results sheet as proof of your time and we will work out your points.
MERIT TABLE POINTS are based on the percentage (%) you run of your current table PB (personal best)
All 2007 PB's were carried forward (by the previous Merit Table organiser) and reset in the program to use to calculate current PB's for this season.
If anyone has a problem, query, or question about anyone's starting PB, or how times are calculated, or anything then PLEASE email me, or PM from the forum.
I can only answer queries if I know what people have concerns about, and more importantly WHO the query comes from.
THANKS.
Oh, and please try to remember it is only a bit of fun. |

Up to date including LFOM 5k 20/6/08.
Another PB from Pam takes her to the top, and a PB for Andy helps him regain the 3rd spot.
It is still very early days, and I feel there are many runners not showing their full hands yet...?
