Well Lucy you were right. The Brecons are nice and cuddly compared to Snowdonia. Much less mentally testing weekend and physically.
Climbed 4 peaks - fan y Big - 719m, Cribyn - 795m, pen y Fan - 886 and Corn Du - 873m. Very pleasant (no scrambling). Very hot weekend.
Made a mental note to write to MOD and advise them that our SAS boys should be training further North if they want to break a decent sweat.
if any of you are are in the area can recommend hotel in Crickhowell - Ty Croeso - excellent

ps no more weekends away training before the Mont Blanc Ultra 24 -26 Aug unless you count wandering about London and V festival......
