great! a weekend away and i still ran a race. did the stafford 20 on sunday, and ouch is the best way to describe it. didn't realise that local clubs were doing a flipping relay round the course. couldn't understand how people were flying past me at distances between 14 and 20 miles looking fresh as anything. thought they must have been on something, haha. overall thought fab race, excellently marshalled, course designed brilliantly (apart from the hill at the start of each lap, mile and a half of essex way steepness), 1 lap of about 9 miles then two laps of 5.5miles with water stations perfectly positioned so that you passed one every 3/3.5 miles. still waiting for official results, no idea where i finished, and just waiting for confirmation of my time.
