Runningman, hi - you better get in quick. This is a very limited field and selection is not automatic. Good luck.....

bounce What are you saying Jez ! are you throwing down the Gauntlet ?

Your right MM ! iam not sure if i will get a spot on the start line ! ( 40 entrys only ) ive had to send my running cv ! its not looking to shabby !

Ernie

Gazza, a couple of years ago I applied for this race also I wasn't accepted.
Obviously my CV wasn't good enough for them !
And I have automatic acceptance in the "Spartathon" which is a prestigious Ultra.
I suspect that one needs to be very much in the know to get a place in this race.
Good Luck with this anyway.
I've done a somewhat similar race in Holland some years back on a 1&1/2 mile circular course and ran 67 miles in 12 hours so 100 miles on a running track in 24 hours shouldn't be too hard.

bounce your correct Ernie its  shall we say quite clicky to say the least !!
Without mentioning names there are people who have done it who have half your CV / ability but they know the right people ! ( I am working on that ) fingers crossed !
