sad news ref: Neil McGregor | Quote: | A PEDESTRIAN who died after he was hit by a lorry has been named by police.
Neil McGregor, 45, of The Chase in Thundersley died in the crash which happened at 12.30pm yesterday.
He was walking along the northbound track of the A130 at Benfleet around 100 yards from the Sadlers Farm roundabout, when he was struck by the articulated lorry. |
Neil ran for Castle Point, Basildon and Thurrock Harriers.
