run to the beatWell done to all the Benfleet runners. It was another hot one. A lot better organised than last year. Not a bad course with a couple of ups and downs other than that reasonably flat. The weather brought out the crowds so it was well supported in places. I did a pb :hello1: 1.40:05 quicker by over 3 minutes which was pleasing for my last half this year. Well done! I also shaved 3min 30sec of my PB and came in 2h 10m. It was a bit warm but the support round most of the course helped.

Well done to all those who took part. Thought it was a bit novel having to pour my own water at the water stations!
