This is a great first event, pool swim then a 5K run round the park.
Shame I can't take part this year as it's on the same day as Paddock Wood |

I'm doing this one - anyone else?
Struggled to get in the water so far this year - with only 1 session per week for the past 3 weeks - and in public time too which got the regulars tutting!! Not only did I put my face in the water, didn't stop for a chat at the end of each length and I did some tumble turns too - not really the right sort of behaviour for public swim time!!! I'm hoping that it will be OK and motivate me to get back into serious swimmng training - ready for the Tri season |

Hi Toni - I am hoping to do this. Bit worried that my thumb might not be up to it, will have an easy swim Sat and if it doesn't hurt too much will see you there! |

Remember only tumble turn in the deep end !! I learnt to swim in that pool, and the shallow end is 2 foot nothing ! Have fun Mikey |
