PB TIMES

As we all like to know when peeps run a new PB, it would help me to know what all your PB times are.....

http://www.benfleetrunningclub.com/pb.times.htm

Any probs let me know.
Cool
Pammie

Karl may take me a while to check them out but as someone who's not normally at the front when starting the race are we talking official times or our own personal watch times.

Hiya Pammie,

Do you mean to say you haven't got all your pb times in a spreadsheet ( or on a bit of paper ? shame on you!)

Chip times where appropriate, but otherewise your watch time is your actual finishing time, so quote that please.
Pammie

Hi Karl i believe they are on fetch somewhere apart from my abysmmal marathon time and i can't even spell that properly!! Smile
Karl C

cut and paste them from fetch.
Pammie

Done and dusted

You should receive 2 forgot marathon time first time round - doh

Karl,

Like the idea but it seems a little buggy. I have tried sending my only PB and found the following:

The comments box doesn't have enough space (it is only 30 characters long) so you can't really leave a comment.

When the form script gives you a receipt screen it shows the comment box as 'RealName1'. Does this mean that you now have an e-mail from 'Comment Box too small for the' as that is what it seems to be saying my real name is?

It might be worth putting a similar form in the next issue of 'The Run' and that way you could possibly get the more 'techno-phobic' members to participate?

Let me know if you need a hand (even if it's only keying paper forms).

Cheers,

John.

"a little buggy"..?

sorry you have got far to technical for me there !

If you need to leave a comment more than 30 letters then please just email me direct.

The receipt is pre-generated, and i didn't feel the need to change the titles - sorry thats me being sloppy.

All the info is OK for me to read, so ignore the "buggy" bits.

I agree with the non-techo version in The Run, but I think i will just leave forms at t'club next time

'A little buggy' definition:

1. The Beach Boys vehicle of choice (before Lil' Deuce Coupe).

2. What Simon Cowle is.

3. Geek-speak for computer code that doesn't appear to work as expected.

Glad you are getting the right info from the form Smile. That said it might be worth ditching the comments box unless you were only expecting 'Great', 'Wonderful' or 'Supercalafrajalisticexbeealido'.

Happy to e-mail you some suggestions Twisted Evil

Cheers,

John.
Karl C

sorry your spell check didn't work - should be

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

(step in time, step in time)

Please bear in mind, also that it is a simple form for PB times, not the magna carta, or magum ice cream for that matter..mmmm

(over the rooftops, step in time)

lol
Very Happy
david thomson
