9 days to go........latest newsWith just over a week to go tot he race, everything is being put into place to making the race a success.We have even organised the prolonged spell of wet weather to make the course as challenging as ever. The Manager of the farm at the East end of the course had expressed concern that runners might take short cuts across expensive growing crops. We have met the farmer and assured him the runners will be well marshalled on the whole course and will put extra tape/signs in the area of his concern. The course map, and other information can be found on our website http://www.benfleetrunningclub.com/benfleet15 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- We will be taking our usual photographs at the event. Last year we took over 900 photo's, and asked people to donate to our charity if they used them. This year we have started the Benfleet Juniors Running Club, and have over thirty 8-13 year olds training weekly with us, and entering races, etc. so we thought it would be a good idea to sell the photographs for a nominal fee to raise funds for extra Junior Club training equipment, etc. So, is £ 1.50 per photograph a "nominal fee" and woud people be adverse to paying...?
