Same day as the Essex way realy. All available athletes should be taking part.....if you do an alternative race keep it mum otherwise you'll face the coaches wrath!!

No worries Simon. I am entertaining my brother-in-law and his children
that weekend, so I knew I couldn't do my bit.
He is in training for the Southend 10k, and doesn't run that much so we have booked into the Thurrock 5k.

Could you make me feel any worse? 
A rare occasion torn beween the love of tri and my love of the club. And yes, on this occasion I went for my mistress who'll no doubt give me a bloody good hiding that weekend. 
Anyway, you know doing the relays always scares me. If it's not getting lost minutes after the start, it's those mad cows (bovines, not female runners  and the equally potty farmers chasing me off their land.
