My PC has virus - can you help ?I wasted my day yesterday trying to sort my PC out and failed.
I've been infected with the SpyWorm.Win32 virus/spyware, well not me but my PC has.
Description:
SpyWorm.Win32 is a threat detected by a rogue security software downloaded and installed by Trojan.Zlob.N. It will prompt the user to download additional security software to be able to clean the infections.
Threat Level: Low
Type: Adware
Systems Affected: Windows All
I've followed various removal suggestions by downloading additional spyware programs etc etc all don't fix the problem.
My backup image fails to restore on another 80gb drive, I'm not sure if its a problem with my hard drive im trying to restore onto or the image itself and I'm reluctant to restore it on my main hard drive and loose everything all together.
Its looking like a fresh install and just copy over useful data from my current hard drive.
Has anybody here got any useful suggestions ?

Good news is I didnt have to bother sorting this out in the end as my Processor died  kind of weird but nevermind as it was a good excuse to treat myself to a state of the art PC
 just need to pay for it now

lol, i had downloaded something but it was just a winzip password cracker utility, i should have none better but i've had problems with my antivirus software and this new one i used just wasnt up to the job, wont be using the free ones again
