they say the Marathon de Sable is hot, sticky, sandy, painful and you feel like you have gone ten rounds with Mike Tyson...
It is a little like a night out in Southend (prounouced Sarrfend), apparently.

Graham will have a good run there then!

Saw the Jack Osbourne MdS attempt in the week - kin hell.
He made one day of the race, and the medical tent looked like something out of Saving Private Ryan and that was just after 15 miles !
Good Luck Graham !

The thing that would bother me the most about this race would be my feet.
If I lose most (8 out of 10 or was that 11 ?) of my Toenails in my last race I think it would my toes I would worry about losing in this one.
Graham your feet are going to be ripped apart ! as I know you will give it your best effort.
I know Deserts and heat Matey and I dont like them but everyone to their own thing.
Too hot for me !

Graham, well done shameless and disgraceful use of Forum to codge funds from people.....brilliant! Done!
Best of luck for venture.....if you need/want any SUCCEED buffers let me know..much better then the fizzy tablet stuff MdS people seem to advocate....

Mr G iam so excited for you !! you will love it ! Dont forget if you need any advice ! I cant tell you how to run fast ! but as ive said many times before MDS is all about knowledge and preperation !
The Thames Meander is deff the race to do ! you will gain more knowledge that day than all the others .. ive just entered as part of my prep for GUCR..Not only that you will probably win it ( even i finished 4th last time )..
ps You will love Clearwater FL. Got back last week .. bloody hot ! ideal training for MDS.. a very jealous Gaza
