Last Friday of the Month 5km 25/04/08Fab conditions today in Hyde Park made a change from the wind and Rain in previous months
But still only 12 days after London so ran as hard as i could
Finish time 25:39 according to Garmin (25:40 says Sportstracks) but will await official timing.
As well as the idea of just running today, i made sure i didn't keep looking at my watch only time i did was to do my splits it did help just ran as hard as i could. I encountered a chatterbox for the 1st 3km though, thinking please don't talk it just slows me down
At around 3km encountered some stitch, not happened in a long time and in a totally different place more towards the side of ribs so i left the chatterbox go ahead and talk to another woman slowed a smidge in the 4th km before speeding up a bit in the 5th not far behind my chatting rival

5:06 146 (70%)
10:22 161 (80%) missed the 2nd km due to chatter
5:16 164 (82%)
4:55 168 (85%)
25:40 according to sportstracks (Garmin 25:39)
so pleased with run overall

Good stuff Pammie, definitely nice to find a bit of good weather.
I find myself looking at my Garmin a bit too often but they're great for analysing the split times after a run, for the most part I'm running faster than I thought....except when I'm being a chatterbox, but that's usually just training runs 
Keep up the good work....me working on speed so looking for some good 5k and 10k races over the next few months.

I do like to talk except in races esp the short races: If you can talk you ain't going fast enough LOL
Official time was 25:40 so happy with that
Hopefully i should get to the club on Tuesday some nice hill reps i see  so if you see me come say hi.
