Well done John. I formerly lived along the route near the Army Barracks at 7.5 miles - and did this race twice. That Southsea wind is a complete killer - and it is always in your face - especially on the long straight road for home.
1.14 is some time, great stuff.

Great SouthWell done John. You are right, when you turn on to the seafront it is as if someone has opened a door and let the wind through. Done this one several times and always done well as it is a flat course. Somehow slipped through the net this year, but hopefully we will be there next year. Congratulations on a good run.

Well done.
Mum also did this one:
Sue Ward - 1.31.17
Think she found the wind tough in the last stretch too, unfortunately Dad had to pull out just after half way with a calf strain but hopefully it will be on the mend soon!

And Sue Ward was also 4th in her age group - just outside the prizes which is awesome for such a large race. WELL DONE SUE
And well done John too - excellent run
