Another great turn-out last week, and apologies for the slight delay in getting into the hall.
Slight caretaker problems, which hopefully will be sorted from now on.
Tesco Sports Vouchers
We have taken receipt of the items “purchased” using the collected tesco Vouchers, and will start using these in our sessions. These include Speed reaction Rings, Hurdles, Quoits, and Action Balls.
Norwich Union Shine Awards
This is still in it’s early stages, but I am processing the events as and when we do them
(this week was an initial trial for measured “5 bounding strides”)
5 events (1 running, 1 jumping and 1 throwing, + any two others) = Skills Award Colours
In Order of merit ORANGE, YELLOW, GREEN,BLUE,BRONZE, SILVER and GOLD
3 events (1 running, 1 jumping and 1 throwing) = Star:Track Award Colours
In Order of merit ORANGE, YELLOW, GREEN,BLUE,BRONZE, SILVER and GOLD
We do have some early qualifications in both, and will aim to get all of our members up to 5 events over the next few weeks so they have a base colour award to work from.
Sport Relief Weekend 14th-16th March
Saturday 15th March – we will be organizing a 1 mile run with children and parents.
Jackets
We have found a supplier of jackets suitable for the children, similar to the adult version.
We will post a list for anyone who is interested in purchasing one.
Approximate price will be in the region of £ 12.
