is it the one at Canvey though thats off road and i think theres one at Basildon on the 16th. Or this Friday at Hyde Park

As far as I know, which isnt a lot, Canvey is off road, and not a merit table race.
I think the Sept 16th is though and its in Basildon.

MM2 ..... You're Right !!!!
Canvey 10k is on road, and has been officially measured, so counts towards MT and is also a league race
Whilst the 5k, is an off road "Fun Run", which hasn't been measured, so can't count as an official PB run
I'm amazed you've actually been paying attention ………..
Well Done

I sent the Red Bull team over to Barking Park yesterday -
anyone see them/get any freebies...???
results should be on
http://www.barkingroadrunners.org.uk/Misc/Barking_Park_5k/BP_5k.htm
at some point.

Its the St. Luke's 5 km on the 16th September at Gloucester Park, same route as the little havens one

|
So, Mikey, will the St Lukes one count to the merit table?
Oh, many thanks for noticing me.

I didnt see any red bull babes and certainly no freebies, just good ol fashioned water!!
|
Stevie
|
If its a known measured course then it should be included and the Gloucester Park 5km route is, so there isnt any reason why the St Lukes 5km shouldnt be included

Results are now up

Strangely, my time is down as 19:41, but I had 19.38 on my watch and the timekeeper called 38 as I crossed the line. Also I was in spitting (literally) of the next guy in front of me and he did 19:34...... Hmm. Not worried about it as it was a 'fun' race. Proper 5K race tomorrow at Serpentine.
Well done to all that ran. Some excellent performances out there on Monday and some stunning PBs.
