Yes .... like the car sticker idea
How about :
"Probably The best running Club In The Country"
or should that be "In Essex" ... or "In The World" ?

Next question - round circle as our logo, or oblong with round logo and words...???
Self Adhesive or Self Cling Window Stickers
Size : 100mm Circle
would you be willing to pay £ 1.50 each...??
Size : 200mm x 100mm
would you be willing to pay £ 2.00 each..?? |

"Benfleet Running Club - More Friendly than Godzilla. Faster than Karl"
"Benfleet Running Club - Putting our best feet forward"
"A run, a chat, some biscuits and a tea. All can be found at BRC"
M&S stylee.....
"This is more than just a running club......."
Mastercard Stylee..... (Maybe a bit long for a sticker)
"Wicking T-Shirt £20
Shorts £15
Lightweight Running Shoes £60
Getting your breathe back at the end of a quality session - priceless"
Can you get knitted stickers?

Think it would have to be the rectangular sticker
That way we can get across our marketing message, as well as showing off the classic round logo
Would depend on numbers I suppose |

Run like you stole something
if running were easy it would be called football
You can't beat what you can't catch
there's no such thing as too early, there's no such thing as too cold, and there's no such thing as too far...

I'd go for a car sticker - my only requirement is that the red logo and wording is colour matched to my car |

Like it Mikey...
I am thinking of going for 200mm x 100mm self cling window stickers.
Would people be prepared to pay £ 1.50 ish for these..if not then it is probably a no-starter. |

Would think £2 would be a better price …..
Less change involved .... and still costs less than a pint
( Profits to Benfleet Junior's I presume ) |

Karl
Produce a list for the notice board …
When you get enough registered interest , you’ll be able to order with relative confidence
I use this method when ordering the Jackets & Hats
Good idea to make the break even cost @ approx 70% of the quantity ordered
That way you’ll unlikely to make a loss … Even if you don't shift them all
& the closer you get to selling out the more money the juniors get |

Karl - I think/are you talking about a strapline. Does the club have a proper strapline???? Thinking of straplines and looking around me for inspiration- yoga studio `a journey to wellbeing', my work at moment - `from landfill to landscape', RWF (rabbit welfare) `a hutch is not enough'. Nike: `just do it'; Tesco: `every little helps'. Mars ` A Mars a day....'
Kitkat `have a break..have a...' Dogs trust ` a dog is for life and not just for xmas' `the futures bright the futures orange'.
If its one off we need a phrase that sums up the club and is and can be used consistently and really - I think - should get committee approval for consistent use.
We have I think:-
`these colours do run'
and `get out and run' and
`the caring club'
Any others?????
From your
| Quote: | | there's no such thing as too early, there's no such thing as too cold, and there's no such thing as too far... |
ive got
BRC: - Never too early, too cold, too young, too old or too far,
BRC:- not for wimps
BRC: probably the most caring club in the world
BRC: Running: our religion
BRC: Happiness is.... a good run
BRC: Just driving between runs - specific to a car sticker
BRC: cars are for getting to runs with - as above
BRC: just planning the next route - as above
Google straplines maybe for inspiration

Come on you all know that 'Caring Club......My Ar*se!' over 2 bare buttocks would be a commercial success....... _________________ 'sometimes I am running so fast it appears that rocks and trees are standing still......' "Benfleet Running Club - surround yourself with ridiculously fit people and achieve a new level of inadequacy and failure"
Snappy, challenging, intriguing......but most of all inappropriate.

I still remember the theft of my Biscuits JBD....it is a visceral hurt....we will both carry to our dying days.......I continue to look for Runners with crumbs around their mouths to this day.... _________________ 'sometimes I am running so fast it appears that rocks and trees are standing still......' getting back on track after Mike "I take all forum thread off at a bloody tangent" Mason has finished -
I have put a list up at the club. If you are interested in buying a sticker, please put your name down.
WE HAVEN'T DECIDED ON A SLOGAN YET, so don't assume that the list you put your name down on is the slogan we will use. THEY ARE JUST TO SHOW YOU WHAT IT MIGHT LOOK LIKE.
I need a few names before we can order the moq.
Thanks.

How about:
'Benfleet Running Club.....it takes the Biscuit.......no really....it takes the flaming Biscuit........'
this could be superimposed onto a Jammy dodger or Hobnob..... _________________ 'sometimes I am running so fast it appears that rocks and trees are standing still......' 'I may be slow, but you are ugly and I can train harder.' '90% is mental, the other half is physical'it's going to get a lot worse, before it gets worse'. |

OK THEN, what about if we get the blank one done......
and then in the gap people can print their own slogan and insert it onto the sticker before sticking it on their window ??
Just a thought |

Like the blank idea but couldn't help adding one:
Forget petrol, I do 26 miles to the pack of jelly babies.
Obviously this might look strange as the club strap-line!
Cheers,
John. |
