LOL - Nice one Steff, I might do that one aswell if its not too late to enter, depends if I get a PB on Sunday aswell. Got a pain in my right foot at the moment so I'm abit worried about that, hopefully I'll be ok after my run tonight and tomorrow Wink

I'm not sure you guys know quite what you are letting yourself in for!

I thought it would be a good idea to run on boxing day last year..... I ended up getting beaten by an 11 year old girl and running a personal worst 21 minute 5k.

LOL!

A few thoughts from todays run -

I have the best clubmates in the world!
Carbo loading with liquid works a treat!
I have a lucky santa hat!
Benfleet Runners fear NO hills!
Some of us could get work with a formula 1 pitstop crew!


Enjoyed today, thanks to all the Benfleet runners who ran and had a bit of a social after. Same time next year?!!!!

Yep, has to go down as one of my fav's.

Great turn out (hats and all), and the Pit Stop Team - beer, wine, chocolates - superb stuff!!

Well done to everyone who got a PB. And YES!! YES!! YES!! finally beat the old man after 20 years of trying. (Haven't mentioned it much since though)!!!

I have to say the Witham 5m was a good day for running & the place was buzzing, everyone was in high spirits or maybe full of spirits, I will certainly recommend it next year to all you guys who missed out.

and for all you Benfleet Running Breakdown Recovery Team, cheers guys, good team effort for sure
