Anyone fancy a club social to the annual Rochford Beer Festival?
It run's from Tuesday 21st - Saturday 25th November and has more beers than you can shake an ultra-distance runner at, so you should find something you like. It's held at the Freight House, Rochford which is handy for the train station (if you live in Hockley/Rayleigh/Southend).
The obligatory post-event curry will help soak up the worst of it (for those not drinking stout).
NB. The drinks on offer use all natural ingredients (let’s not go into the ciders’ possible ingredients – but you can be assured it’s all natural!)
I've added a poll to this post so that you can vote with anonymity if you want to

Ben,
Luckily for me (and The Wife) there will be no lack of 'kegs' at the festival in the event of a Phil-style trouser
theft (for those that are bewildered see this post:
http://benfleetrunningclub.myfastforum.org/ftopic93.php )
Anyway I think we should all go in Benfleet kit with 118-style moustaches for a bit of post-Python-esque fun. I
always think a moustache looks very distinguished (especially on the ladies).
My best regards, as always
John. |

John, I think your comment about shaking ultra-runners is dangerous. This is likely to inspire some gross misconduct actions. I think you need to issue a retraction asap.
ps looks as if Ernie has had a good shaking rfecently.....
