Trail race from Hatfield Peverel scout hut from 9:30am, 5 and 10 mile options.
Organised by Mid Essex Casuals who always put on excellent trail races, with the best route descriptions.

Good run yesterday mate, 3rd place for a man struggling with an achilles injury is excellent. Well done to Darren on finishing joint 5th with Andy H and I on his first trail race.
Finally well done to Lorri on completing the first race of her come back.

Thanks Andy and Andy Hibbins.
Bit of pain in the afternoon but really enjoyed the run, physio is working well just got to get more stamina. You two kept me going through the latter part of run, theres's just that nasty competetive edge that comes through so sorry for sprinting the last 50Mtrs.
Total respect for doing the 5 miler after and getting a great result, there was no way I could have done that believe me, and to Graham for his first trail, great result.

Well done all Benfleet runners especially Lorri, great to see your in such a focused mind and running again.

Next one Langdon hills on Saturday, this will be a real test. I don't like hills, hope to see more Benfleet out for this one seeing as it's so local.
