Go to the "mid essex casuals website" or "Springfield striders" for a diary full of trail events fort the rest of the year, mid week as well as weekend

A few of us normally make arrangements to meet up at the Barge pub in Battlesbridge in the morning so we can car share and put ourselves into groups for the run if need be, but if you want to make your own way that's up to you.

A lot of the Mid Essex Casual / Springfield runs start and end at a pub so a drinks voucher is sometimes included and could even have a lunch and the cost is normally max of £4

First lot or runs are for the Easter weekend, "The Eggstravaganza". Obviously not for the marathon runners as it too close.

Arrangements for Good Friday run:- Swanning Around

Date: 10/4/2009
Place: The Swan pub in Rayne
Distances: 7.5 / 14 miles
Start from: 10.30am
Drinks voucher for bar: YES!
Cost: £4
Meeting up at The Barge Pub at Battlesbridge at 9.15am leave for event 9.30am prompt.

Arrangements for Saturdays run:- 7 Pint 5

Date: 11/4/2009
Place: The Hurdlemakers Arms in Little Baddow
Distances: 7.5 mile
Start from: 10.30am
Drinks voucher for bar: YES!
Cost: £3
Meeting up at the Barge Pub at Battlesbridge at 9.30am leave for event 9.45am prompt.

Arrangements for Sundays run:- The Resurrection Shuffle

Date: 12/4/2009
Place: The Stag pub in Little Easton.
Distances: 9 mile
Start from: 10.30am
Drinks voucher for bar: YES!
Cost: £4
Meeting at the Barge Pub at Battlesbridge at 9.00am leave for event 9.15am prompt.

Arrangements for Mondays run:- The Purleigh whirly and hurly burly

Date: 13/4/2009
Place The Roundbush pub in Purleigh
Distances: 5 / 10 mile
Start from: 10.00am
Drinks voucher for bar: Don't know
Cost: £4
Meeting at the Barge pub at Battlesbridge at 9.15am leave for event 9.30am prompt.

A great Easter weekend of trail runs and thoroughly enjoyed whole experience of competing each day.
Thanks for the other Benfleet runners who joined in, think we all enjoyed and congrats on very good results throughout even if some of us got lost on our travels.
