Hi all,

In case anyone’s wondering what I’m up to these days, I’m working in Uganda. I was in Ethiopia last week and managed to meet the great Keninisa Bekele! What an inspiration. I told him about Benfleet Running Club but didn’t manage to persuade him to join – that would guarantee success in the SE Essex cross country league!

I'm missing lovely summer runs around Benfleet but am enjoying hill training in the heat of Kampala!

Steve, goo to hear from you.  You are ot missing much in the way of an English summer, but what an experience for you to meet Bekele. Hope to see you back safe and sound in the near future.
