Well done John. I formerly lived along the route near the Army Barracks at 7.5 miles - and did this race twice. That Southsea wind is a complete killer - and it is always in your face - especially on the long straight road for home.
1.14 is some time, great stuff. |

| Well done John. You are right, when you turn on to the seafront it is as if someone has opened a door and let the wind through. Done this one several times and always done well as it is a flat course. Somehow slipped through the net this year, but hopefully we will be there next year. Congratulations on a good run. |

Well done.
Mum also did this one:
Sue Ward - 1.31.17
Think she found the wind tough in the last stretch too, unfortunately Dad had to pull out just after half way with a calf strain but hopefully it will be on the mend soon! |

And Sue Ward was also 4th in her age group - just outside the prizes which is awesome for such a large race. WELL DONE SUE
And well done John too - excellent run
