Luton Marathon? For wimps.
Grim? For girls. (Well done Lucy)*
Try running off a mountain when it's so windy it's pushing you back up again. Try running along a ridge when the wind is coming at you at 90 degrees and forcing your eyeballs out of the sockets......
Had a really good day yesterday at this fell race. 9 miles, 2600ft of climb over near Church Stretton in Shropshire. Didn't run it very well due to some niggles and lack of running motivation. Came 120th out of over 200 runners in 1hr 49min. Quads are SCREAMING now though as the DOMS is kicking in.
Oh, did I mention it was windy.....
Mark
*Only joking!!!!!
