Don't know if there is any interest but received an email from Matt from Runners World looking for ideas this is what he said
Pam,
I’m putting together a list-type feature for RW on the above topic – short, punchy, but very practical and applicable tips from the UK’s top coaches/runners/physios/sports psychs and nutritionists (or whoever) on the single best things you as a runner should be implementing to up your game. Obviously more than happy to plug anyone/thing for some free publicity in the magazine in return for some help. If you don’t have time, or if you know someone who might be better suited to help, do please pass this on – maybe one of the coaches at Banfleet Running Club?
The tips we’re looking for are hopefully something that isn’t blindingly obvious, and it would be even better if it’s slightly surprising…maybe something you think most runners don’t implement or do wrong.
My deadline to get these together is Monday 18th May, so if I could get something back by the end of the week, that would be perfect – or sooner if at all possible.
Thanks again for all your help and don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Matt
of course the eagle-eyed amongst you will notice a slight typo
