| Mike, that is the weekend we will be down in the New Forest supporting the triathlon, so will not be able to attend this year. What a shame. |

there's always the team event Karl??
Count me in.
Definately the bestest fun you can have on a soaking wet Sunday morning ... all for a bargain £3 ... well worth it if only for the cracking lunch afterwards

For the Club Duathlon rain is optional
But it does sort the triathletes out from the mere runners !!!!
Last few years we’ve been lucky and its poured down
Statistically speaking , chances are it will be a lovely summers day this year
But bring your wet weather gear just in case ! |

CAKE’S .... Sandwich’s & ..... Even More CAKE’S
The success of the Duathlon relies on a strong Buffet afterwards
This year we’re doing all the food ourselves
If you’re coming along to the Duathlon, please bring a plate of cakes or sandwiches for the buffet
Anything gratefully received / consumed !
Please let me know what you're going to bring ....
Don't want to end up with 20 plates of smoked salmon bagels !!! |

Have to agree with David, fantastic event and support today. Great organisation, thanks to Mike and helpers. Great buffet again thanks to the ladies for the teas etc. Also to Graeme and Sarah for time keeping today.
Good support this year, surely nothing to do with the weather!.
Well done to David on a great win.
Cheers

Another excellent Duathlon ... the things I do for fun these days??
Many thanks to Mike for a great competition. To Sarah and Graeme for the scores on the doors and James for keeping us hydrated.
Mrs J and Diane did us proud again as did all the contributors to the buffet.
I'm red as a beetroot and completely cream crackered :cherry:
... only one down side
Finding out Adam can ride a bike just as bliddy fast as he runs ... I just could not catch him up!
Mike. |

Really enjoyed today, being my first multi-event. It was a good work out and a real eye opener.
Would like to thank Mike for arranging the event.
Well done to Dave and Jo. |

Thanks to everyone for supporting the Duathlon
Fantastic weather , if maybe a little too hot !!!
Thanks for all my helpers
Carolyn , Sarah , and Greame for the timekeeping
Sarah’s young lad James, for the manning of the water station
Diane and my mum for the Tea’s and manning the village hall whilst the rest of us were out playing in the sun
Ian for marking out the course the week before
Everyone who brought food for the Buffet, which was exceptionable, even by Duathlon standards
Everyone who turned out to support and cheer us on
And of course all the competitors ….
Hope you all enjoyed the challenge, and will be back for more next year
Mikey
