Bobby is this an ultra or a marathon? Whatever..good luck to all at Beachy and I will be giving out biscuits at the X-country on Sunday. If people are lucky they may get ones I haven't licked, chewed or spat on...but then again... _________________ 'sometimes I am running so fast it appears that rocks and trees are standing still......' what a great day, perfect weather for beachy head. no rain, but major winds over the seven sisters and beachy head itself. i'm very happy today that i finished (in too much pain to care last night) especially having to pull out at checkpoint 3 last year. a little slower than i originally wanted but the steps took their toll on a few niggles i had, but no major complaints today. Sarah had a great run proving once again how fit she is having only done a maximum training run of 7.5 miles beforehand. Dad and Sylvia walked, impressively starting at 7.30 and then finishing in 9 hrs and 6 minutes. the marshalls were excellent throughout the entire course encouraging every runner they saw, brilliant.
414th Peter John Watson 4:52
738th Sarah Norton 5:35
Peter Leonard Watson 9:06
Sylvia Johnston 9:06
