10am is the 10k race.
11.20am is the fun run 1 mile.
12.15pm is the half marathon.
We are taking some of the Junior section to do the fun run, and a few of us are doing the half marathon.
Some of us are even thinking of doing all three = 20 miles.

Hmm, Start 10k 10:00am Finish 11:10
Fun runs starts 11:20, I could slow down and go straight from one race to the next, but the shame of all the juniors disappearing into the distance is too much for me.
Anyway, Tri season doesn't start until April _________________ Whad'ya mean "Run fat boy, run"? I AM running! |

What do you mean thinking about it, when you suggested the idea. I booked a place in all three.
So what are you waiting for?
You know you want to |

Andy, I don't want to steal your thunder.
Just working out the permutations of getting there earlier on my own. Jackie and the girls coming later, and me then staying later for the half marathon and I will be sorted.
Can I cadge an early lift with you ?
Jac could then drive up with the girls (4) + Godfrey (with Godfrey navigating),
We could stay to do the half marathon (as long as Jackie knows how to get home) and Godfrey and me could cadge a lift back with you ?
Sorted ???

Hi Pete
Yep I am still doing all 3, Taking the first 2 races very easy. Then see what I have left for the Half Marathon.
Its a tough course, but good training for London.
Hope to see you there

Well done to all that ran today, conditions were perfect.
But I have to say that performance of the day goes to George Watts for his fantastic run in the 10k. Absolutely brilliant run, on a very hilly course. |

| Well done all. Especially Clive! And the guys that competed in all events. Lorri - hard luck mate, just a few seconds over again, how annoying for you. The Southend Half I reckon. |

| thanks for the support Guys but i didn't run Brands Hatch on Sat as i couldn't make it so Lorraine ran it instead.... and of course i would of done it in 1.30hr on current form lol. actually Lorraine did that time after doing the 10k so well done to her as it's very hilly. I can't do Paddock Wood as i will be tapering down for Paris but i am doing Roding Valley so may get a nice juicy PB then..... Well done to all who took part, sterling stuff... |
